Music and Culture of the African Diaspora
The Old Town School of Folk Music and the South Shore Cultural Center present AfroFolk Live, a series of FREE Concerts and Workshops celebrating the music and culture of the African Diaspora. The Spring 2004 Schedule for AfroFolk Live includes eighteen concerts and 6 workshops covering a variety of contemporary and historical traditions including music, folklore, dance, religion and storytelling from Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean and the Americas.
2004 Afrofolk season dates are:
Every Saturday from April 3rd - May 8th at the South Shore Cultural Center.
